You could be mistaken for thinking that I had a choice in the matter, but the reality was, I had none. Powers far greater than I made the decision, all I could do was obey.
Friends thought I had been struck with some madness, and I have to admit there were times that I felt the same and was filled with doubt and fear and felt as though I had not only lost my mind, but my sense of direction and purpose in my life. Those were the downtimes and thankfully didn't last very long, for someone or something would intervene and I would have clarity again. As the need inside me to go grew stronger, the sense that I was doing the right thing, and the clarity I had both increased on a daily basis.
